Marta N. Piris
After finishing high school at the German School in Barcelona, my passion for languages, language and communication led me to graduate in English Philology and Translation and Interpreting. After working for two years as an in-house translator for Booking.com and another year teaching Spanish in the UK, I established myself as a freelance translator in Barcelona in 2010, a job I have held uninterruptedly until today.
I have collaborated on a long-term basis with numerous translation agencies and leading companies in different sectors, specializing in the fields of marketing, tourism, education, journalism and business relations. My clients value the excellent quality, rigor and meticulousness of my work, as well as the agile communication and my extensive experience, which provides me with the necessary tools to address the specific requirements of each project.
The result is texts that are as creative and unique as they are impeccable. In order to ensure the highest linguistic quality and guarantee that the text sounds fluent, authentic and natural, I translate from English and German into my native language, Spanish, complying with the international standards established in the professional translation industry.
